In 2001 SMG acquired 7 Assisted Living Communities throughout Oklahoma consisting of 265 units and providing services to over 300 residence. The acquisitions created a $22 plus Million asset base company with over $5 million in annual revenues. Managed a Corporate team of 5 executives and 7 mid-level managers overseeing daily operations managing 250 employees while providing world consulting services.
Created a proficient staff to ensure quality resident medical care, hospitality service and dining services in an elegant environment while stabilizing an 85% census and maximizing 25% profit margins. Managed daily operations and quality assurance for each community’s physical plant, human resources, budgets, resident satisfaction and federal/state/local compliance issues while continuing to evolve the company by creating more efficient and effective management practices.
